Hi, looking for any ideas to get passenger window working!!!

passenger window motor quit (during a rain storm with window open) drivers side and pass side switch not working for pass side. Drivers side window works fine. Pass window only works up & down if I bypass switch at motor connection when I ground one wire and power other wire with 12V. I cleaned pass switch which was black inside, drivers side switch appears clean and functioning with audible relay clicking. Was told that there is a relay behind kick panel, but if drivers side window working that could be ruled out as a problem. Should there be continuity between motor housing and ground? In my case there is none. Is there a relay that may be faulty while working on door I could hear an occasional squawking or electrical sound? thanks for any help you may provide. warren knight
