2004 4x4 suspension parts

    I've searched around, and positive i have missed it, the majority i found were for more lift, but i i do not want any more lift then it had from the factory, so i am wondering if anyone can direct me to new leaf springs, coil springs, and shocks front and back, that will give it a stock height and ride, its a 2004 4x4 extended cab 3.4 v6 sr5 with 6ft bed.

    And this is a road driver not a offroad vehicle, might occasionally need that offroad ability, and or to go in snow, but im not building it for offroading, it is a daily driver. Hence no extra lift, but i am good with nice smooth ride. Most it will do is carry some lumber for a woodworking project when i build something, but im almost never going to carry anything super heavy. Still i would like to have the option and know im not going to break something and have a costly repair. So i am also good with stronger springs then stock, even if they dont provide a smooth ride.

    i know that the toyota leaf springs are pron to breaking from what i have read at least, so im looking for aftermarket parts, and if anyone has some diy info on what im getting into with this, and or how to's or videos, that would be a great help. I have not gotten into anything big like this, but i have worked on engines in the past all the way down to replacing cam shafts and pistons, so i do know enough to know how to use tools.

    3/4" isnt anything, probably wont even notice it, i appreciate the info

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
    I just put all new factory ride height suspension on my truck but take note that it will lift the truck about 2" overall, just because your old suspension has sagged that much over the years.

    here you go, all for original factory ride height:

    stock oem complete replacement strut assemblies, because your old springs have sagged over the years and should be changed (life saver hint, unbolt the lower ball joints from spindle to make replacement go easier)

    Thanks, i do recall reading that 2" of lift would be gained just because the old was sagging, that was the main reason i wasn't wanting to get any that had additional lift on top of that, dont want the truck 5" higher for instance.
    And my plan was to change out everything as long as i was in there, for the fronts im going to change the upper ball joints as well, and i need to do the left inner and outer tie rod, as i will already be in that far going to do the right as well, so i wont have to worry about anything on any of this going out for a good long while.

    Then once all of this is done, take it in for the lower ball joint recall and let toyota replace those and get a alignment for free.

    well im anal about avoiding doing things twice so if I had a ball joint and tie rods bad I would just spend the extra $60 or so more and put all new on both sides so 2 outer tie rods, 2 inner tie rods, 2 upper and lower ball joints, and the 2 sway bar link ends and sway bar bushings.

    that way your suspension and front end is all new and you shouldn't need to touch the truck for another 10-15 years

    yep, it would suck to have to do the other side 6 months from now, been there done that too many times so I learned my lessons

    Awesome, thank you for the info and the videos, let me know how everything goes if you dont mind, would like to know how accurate the videos are, some times i have found, things are not as easy as the editing dept makes it appear they are.

    Yeah, I'm sure it wont be as easy as they make it look. I've done all of this before on a 79 GMC Sierra and a 88 Toyota Pick up but the last time was 7-8 years ago and never on a 4WD. Should be a fun project, I'm looking forward to it. I'll let you know how it goes.
