    im installing a aftermarket tach into my 04 regular cab base model because there isnt one in the factory gauge cluster. i need to know what color wire to splice into for a tach reading. PLEASE HELP ASAP! thanks:confused:

    Ive seen people say that its the Lime green with black stripe on the passenger side where the ecu is, and the 4 pin connector isnt plugged in but i spliced into that wire anyway, but when i turn the truck on the needle moves slightly, but doesnt give me a rpm reading.
