I have a 04 Tacoma TRD 3.4L 6 Cylinder with 250k miles. Great truck though during summer heat is often very slow to accelerate in 1st and 2nd gears, especially after have been driving in stop and go traffic.

Otherwise it runs great. Any thoughts most welcome and appreciated.

When was the last time you replaced the transmission fluid?

About a year ago. Changes wires, plugs and injector clean as well. Problem only in summer months. Thank you for insights!

You are at the miles when injectors start to fail and they usually only show issues when the engine is warm.
