Hey guys, it's unfortunate, but I'm a college student and finances have forced me to sell my baby. She's an '04 limited which means she has every option available for a Tacoma (except sunroof). It just hit 100k miles a few days ago but will continue to go up because it is my daily. at 96k miles I put a new timing belt, water pump, coolant, cam shaft seals, and crank seal on it and have paperwork to prove it. I bought this truck from a very reputable dealer in my area so it will come with a carfax for those interested and serious buyers. When I got it they had just done a full service tune up on it, so it needs NOTHING! I've changed the oil every 3k miles with high mileage oil and K&N oil filter and it doesn't burn any oil, nor leaks!

It is basically completely stock except for a K&N drop in filter (not saying much for a mod). I had the windows tinted with 5% all around and comes with a lifetime warranty. I also have an extremely high quality camlocker toolbox that may or may not come with the truck, depending on selling price that I paid a little over $600 for a couple of months ago and still looks like new! This truck has husky line floormats as well. I'd rate the interior as a 9.5/10 since I know there are extremely OCD people out there like me that notice very small things. And the exterior being a 9/10 because it does have 100k miles so there is some signs of road wear, however the truck glistens!! It turns heads everywhere and it will make someone an amazing vehicle and possibly good truck to fix up (even though it's a PreRunner).

I'm asking $16500 because I paid $17k for it 5 months ago and I've put over a thousand dollars in upgrades. I am negotiable, but only to an extent. So please don't come up and low ball me with $12k I'll send you right back home. Depending on the final sale price is depending on whether the toolbox goes with it. Once again, this truck is stunning! You won't believe it's 8 years old and definitely won't be disappointed. I will give better info and pics to those interested and serious buyers and I won't tolerate spammers, scammers, and kids with no money. The best way to get in contact with me would be call/text (803)-530-8643. I'm located in Columbia, SC. Thanks guys and thanks for looking!

Not trying to jack your thread or anything, but out of curiosity what kind of vehicle will you be looking to get after you sell your truck? I imagine something that gets good mpg.

Yeah, I'm looking at Civics and Integras (not the rice burners). I just need a dependable DD that's good on gas. And paid for :D

You put it on craigslist or ebay yet? I know a Toyota dealership would easily give you 9K probably a bit more, if it is in as good as condition as you say. But they will turn right back around and ask 14 or 15K for it gurantee you. But if you wanted to do a trade im sure they would be eager to work with you maybe even get more bang for your buck. If I have any friends looking for one ill point them your way. Good luck!

May I suggest a future car? The fifth-generation Honda Accord, model years 1994-1997 are excellent cars. I grew up in one, and owned one last year. One of the most reliable cars honda has ever made, and they're cheap today. I paid $2000 for mine, 210k miles, mid-range model. She was a good car, but sold her after i demanded to own a truck/suv.

Has a 2.2L inline-four in Vtec or non-Vtec varieties. 130hp for the less powerful model. Has good power throughout the range. Gets impeccable mileage for what it is. My five-speed routinely pulled 31mpg in hard city driving, constant 3000+rpm shifts. I don't know how it consistently pulled that off. Also, 38mpg on an 80mph road trip with A/C. If you're looking for cheap transpo with good mpgiesels, they're somethin to think about.

Cheap, without resorting to driving a Civic, Metro, Corolla or the like.

Cons? One of the most stolen cars in America. Last generation of Accord to not feature an immobilizer chip.

Yeah, trading it in is not an option. I know how car dealers screw people into selling them their cars and give them rock bottom price. I'm not desperate to sell it and I sure as hell aren't going to drop the price $7k just to get rid of it!! It's an amazing vehicle and if that's all I can get for it, I'll just keep it.

I've owned a Honda before and it was a 2000 Civic Si. Fun car to drive, cheap to own, operate and fix! Should've never got rid of it. I'm looking more towards that area. Don't get me wrong, I know that accords are great cars I'm just not a fan of their looks. Thanks for the advice though.

Go for the RSX! It's like a refined civic and I love driving my dad's. One day it will be my second car.

I agree. RSX is a hell of a car. It's just hard to find them around here that aren't riced out or boosted and sprayed. I just want a close to factory babied Honda. So far, the Prelude's are looking pretty good to me.
