My '04 Tacoma's Air selector hasn't been working. The air is coming out of the bottom, side, and defrost vents, but I cant get it to switch modes. I have tried researching it, but I haven't been able to find if the mode selector is cable ran or electric. IF it is electric, could it be a dead servomoter? I don't hear any grinding or sounds like a little electric motor is trying to move the air flow, so IF it is electric, it is completely dead. The mechanics of the nozzle are all working, and I can feel it sliding into the various slots (modes) but the direction of air flow still isn't changing. What do you guys think?
