Thought I'd post this now and update as I make progress. I just got my truck last week with 104K miles. It's going to need maintenance done, timing belt, water pump, brakes, and the stupid ABS light sometimes comes on, sometimes doesn't.

    My plan so far:
    - Synthetic Fluids (recommendations?)
    - Tundra Brakes (can I keep my stock 16" wheels with 231mm pads?)
    - Timing Belt/Water pump
    - Fuel Filter
    - Figure out ABS Light issue

    Any suggestions and recommendations welcomed!

Also, if you have any aftermarket parts for sale shoot them my way and maybe I will purchase them!

    Thanks everyone!

That was made by the original owner, has storage compartments on the sides and the middle floor will become a second level where you can sleep if you move them closer together. Will post pics a little later.

image.jpg Not that this counts as a modification but I added my scan gauge to my Tacoma.

A few weeks ago I found an OEM bed extender from a 2011 Tacoma for $100 on Craigslist, last week I ordered the mounting brackets from Amazon. Installation was easy and now my cargo boxes are not tumbling around in the bed.

Have not done any of the oils yet, but was thinking doing Mobil1 or Amsoil and maybe some Lucas like you mentioned.

Really nice truck. Like your choice of upgrades. I use Mobile One Syn. Haven't tried the Lucas, but I'm thinking of putting some in on my next oil change.

Amsoil is good. A lot of it is preference/availability/price. I found the Mobil one and Lucas combo on here years ago from a member that had over 500k and going strong. So I tried it and instantly noticed a difference.

I just got my 2015 with 16 miles on it or else I'd be running the combo but on my next change, I'll be making the switch.

I will have to do Mobil1 and Lucas on my next oil change, a 3" lift is in the plan. Thinking about doing an old man emu set up.

Subbed. Tasteful upgrades. Look forward to seeing what else you do with it. I got my dcsb '13 in January. My son (4) and I have taken a couple trips to Alabama and North Carolina this Spring. Prepping for a Smokey Mountain trek next month.
