    Hey all,

New here and I currently do not own a Tacoma but I am looking into purchasing one and have been for the last 3 months but 1st gens are hard to come by in a price range that I can justify (baby on the way).

I have a line on a 2004 2.7l 4x4 for $6000... Truck is in good cosmetic condition unsure about mechanical but I'm looking to go check it out... It's a 5spd with just over 300k on it.

Wondering whether the $6000 asking price is fair or not?

Anything in specific I should like for when checking it out aside from frame and exhaust manifold?

    Thanks in advance,
    Brett

Plasti-Dipped Emblems, Tonnopro Tri-fold toneau cover (for winter use only), AVS in-channel visors, Ultra Gauge, Tepui Kukenam RTT, Muteki Trail Hog 285/70/17, Pop N' Lock, Bilstein 5100's in the front set at .85 with Eibach coils, Bilstein 5100's in the rear with a Toytec AAL. Toytec drivers side spacers, Toytec diff drop kit. All Pro u-bolt flip kit, TJM Compressor (permanently mounted), Custom rack for the RTT over the bed, Tepui Kukenam RTT, Toyota Bed Mat, Cobra 75 WX ST CB Radio, and a lot of gear behind the seats.
These aren't in Ontario but maybe they'll help for a comparison, but in all honestly that doesn't seem like a bad price if it is an AC.

Correct if I'm wrong but aren't Ontario vehicles usually cheaper because of salt.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,

Just for clarification, I am in Canada and therefore am talking kilometers and not miles...

300,000 km is a lot. These trucks are tough but If i were you i would get a really in depth inspection done. Especially if it's a local truck in Ontario, pretty sure all that salt can really do a fair bit of damage.

Figure out what kinda shape it's in and then decide on price.

Start your bargaining low my friend. Lol.
