Looking at rear wheel bearing on a 2004 Tacoma Pre-runner, part 90363-40068 and it LOOKS to me that the beveled opening (about 3.5mm taller that the bearing face), goes towards the outside (towards the tire). Is this correct? it's been 4 years since I did the last one, and I already disassembled everything and when the bearing came out, I didn't see which way it was.....

Might have been too much/not enough beers involved but can't be sure....

Never Mind! Not enough beers, a sharp eyed member found where I asked the same question in 2014! All is smooth and backing plate is now reassembled.
