My sister in California wants to sell her 2004 Tacoma, only has 39,000, hard to believe, but she doesn't drive much. basic model Auto, 2 door air bed cover. Anyone know what a fair price would be. She is asking me but with that low mileage hard to answer. Thanks James

Need more info. 2 door with zero space behind seats? Or the Xtracab with jump seats?

    2 wheel drive or 4x4?

has it lived in CA it’s entire life and completely rust free?

    what model/trim?

photos of the dash, shifter and a few outside shots would help.

    Under the hood as well.

best would be a photo of the sticker on the driver side door jamb with the VIN and we can look up all the options online.

overall value of stock and no rust for a 4x4 with the TRD package is probably $10-15k.

even though it has low mileage, it’s quite a bit low for some buyers that would be concerned that the oil has sat for years without changing just because it wasn’t driven much.

also with that age, a lot of the rubber components will be dried out from the sun and atmosphere and need to be replaced - suspension, bushings, etc.

C6AD20E2-431D-4E8D-9B29-69957415ADFB.jpg I agree, she did take care of it, oil changes ect. It is not four wheel, basic automatic from what she told me. I asked for pictures I'm in another state. I'll post them when I get them. Thanks Jim

Rebuilding seats with leather from furniture and extra padding. Might put leather on the dash and other interior parts.

What state are you in? She prolly selling it cause it can't pass California smog testing.

The '04 Tacomas were the worse for throwing emission codes. I know, I have one.

KBB says $8-10K for private sale but I think that’s way high for a 5-lug. I was thinking more in the neighborhood of $6K even considering the low mileage.
