Bad News - My 03 Double Cab was totaled last week parked in the street. Some kid sideswiped me and wiped out the entire driver side and probably did some structural damage. It had only 150K and was in nice shape. I was going to drive it until 200K miles.

Good news - They had good insurance and I bought a new 2019 TRD Sport for XMAS yesterday. Holy cow! The old Tacos still worth alot of money.

Its a bad picture, but the double cab longbed barely fits into the parking spot at work. I'll need to park against the wall like the big chevy, fords and tundras to avoid being clipped by the maniacs leaving work on their cell phones. Its an 8 story parking garage so I've got about 25 good parking spots the to keep it safe.taco.jpg

man, I'm riding around my local area which is very heavily populated with dense shopping not too far away just thinking to myself "who's gonna be buying me some bumpers with their insurance" drivers are crazy during the holidays. I drive like a grandpa in my truck.

in my older 2005 car, i'm just wondering "hmm, what will be my next daily?"

I was considering getting a mall runner (a.k.a. 4-runner) and a small 4X8 trailer for my weekend stuff. My wife reminded me the backyard has been under water since August and wont dry out until May or June, so she killed that idea. Smart woman!

Speaking of mall crawling. This ford 350 behemoth makes the new taco look like my old 1st gen.
