Not my first Tacoma, but maybe the cleanest Ive owned. I own/operate a body shop and wheel all over the country so this is just a driver/fishing/camping rig, not a wheeling rig. Looked for a while and found a 128k mile Toy a few hours away and picked it up about a month ago. Drove it for a few days to be sure stuff was solid and then started repairs and upgrades..

steering rack was rusted thru and leaking, replaced with new
all steering tierods and joints replaced
    ps pump replaced
    Bilstein 8112s installed up front
    Tubular UCAs installed
Snagged a set of used Rock Trix/used 265/70/17s off CL to run till I buy new
    Gotta have the window tint
New front turn and park housings, and polished the headlamps

So far just wire wheeling and cleaning up a little surface rust on the underside, the frame is not terrible, it was a southern truck all its life. Bed floor is shot, but Im not worried about it right now because its not coming thru yet. Passenger door has some bubbles, but Ill grab one from LKQ when it gets bad enough to bother me, not yet lol. Interior is pretty nice, working on upgrading speakers and doing BT stuff for convenience.

Like I said its not for wheeling, just alot of exploring and road tripping type stuff and daily duties, but I was pretty stoked to see it was a TRD with the locker just for kicks. I have a RTT that has been on several trucks I will build a cage for and prob snag a used drawer setup or build one at some point. Will update with some pics and stuff as things get installed or built, feel free to ask any questions you'd like, Im no "overlander" but I have build and wheeled and camped alot of stuff around the southeast and dont mind helping if I can. 20220721_115801.jpg 20220721_115811.jpg 20220718_231124.jpg

Thank you for joining the forums and introducing yourself, we appreciate the photos you shared of this gem you found!

Loving the wheel and tire package that came with the truck, looks like a perfect truck to go fishing and camping with.

We hope you enjoy all the benefits on the site and stick around.
