    SOLD

    2004 V6 Auto 4x4 SR5 TRD Off-Road ExtraCab with factory rear-locking differential
    186,112 miles

Located Rhode Island. California truck until 2019, then split between RI summers and Florida winters. Mechanically pristine, everything is great, 4x4 works flawlessly, rear diff lock engages no issue. Never in an accident. V6 purrs like a kitten, gets 18.5 city 21+ mpg on the highway. Always driven with respect, never abused.

Most recent stuff (last 10k mi)
    • Starter motor rebuilt/contacts replaced
    • New steering rack
    • New battery
    • New headlights
    • New front brakes
    • Full valve cover gasket job (cam plugs, half moon seals, plenum gaskets etc)
    • New spark plugs, wires, coil boots
    • Throttle body, intake plenum, and MAF sensor cleaned
    Earlier stuff:
    • 148,000 miles: Full suspension swap to OME/Dakar leaf packs (881 coils and x4 Nitrochargers), new radiator and hoses, new tie rods.
    • 141,000 miles: Timing belt, rollers/pulleys, thermostat/water pump, and lower ball joints (all Toyota OEM, work performed by "The Truck Shop" in San Diego)
    Other stuff:
    • Exhaust shortened for clearance, terminates in front of rear axle (has a bit more "drone" than stock)
    • Cruise control
    • Two sets of keys
    • Factory Toyota bottle jack, tools, original owners manual
    • K&N intake/air filter
    • Oil/filter always changed 5k intervals with Mobil1, tires rotated 5k intervals
    • Pretty cool and rare Glasstite "Raven" shell with screens on sliding side windows and Yakima roof-racks. Racks are lockable, double locking rear handles, two sets of keys for both shell and racks. Shell 3rd brake light wired in with a quick connector.
    • Cooper AT3 tires, alloy "six-shooter" rims
    • Matching size spare on steel rim
    • Pioneer single din stereo with bluetooth, CD and USB
    • Custom 10ga aluminum front skid plate from Tacomaworld member 22REthan
    • Husky floor mats
    • Rugged Liner plastic bedliner
    • There is a 2" trailer ball on the bumper I put in for towing a jet-ski
    • Installed a wiring harness for trailer lights
    Full disclosure stuff:
    • Surface rust starting to appear underneath. The frame however is solid and needs no concern whatsoever. Fuel tank skid and exhaust appears by far the most affected.
    • Paint is a bit of a mess. Clear on the cab behind each door is flaking off. Top of the camper shell is flaking clear coat. Clear on panels either side of hood starting to bubble. No rust on body. Future plan was to re-paint or bed-line the whole truck so I have not addressed the paint issue. Selling at reduced price and will leave that choice up to the next owner.
    • Scratches, nicks and a couple small dents, typical for a truck this age.
    • Interior not pristine but not terrible.
    • Driver’s plastic seat side cover is toast.
    • Interior overhead dome light bulb is out, a couple of the dash panel backlight LEDs are out
    • Passenger side vent window latch creeps open from vibrations (I currently tape it closed)
    • Wheels could use a good wire brushing, and the chrome Pacer hub caps are rusty (easily replaced)

Anyway, looking for a good home. This is a solid first gen that has never let me down. It is mechanically bulletproof. Plenty of life left in this little weapon. Reach out for any questions, I have more photos as well. Thanks!

Damn. If it was manual I'd be on my way.

Thanks I hope so too. I haven’t listed it anywhere else yet, wanted to give TW first dibs before I put it up on CL or FB.

Even with freight cost shipping this back to the west coast would be a good deal. I paid $1,100 shipping a car from CA to TX last year so even if they charged double or triple for a truck, it's worth it.
