Is it worth doing a wet compression test before returning the tool ( put a little oil in before connecting tool )

Gotcha a friend has a air compressor so I’ll do the wet compression test tomorrow and also the leakdown test as harbor freight has a kit for $80 and I’ll probably just return it after

Did a wet compression test, same compression or so on the cylinder 2 that is misfiring

Probably not rings then, a leakdown test will tell you where its going. A leakdown test is basically just pressurizing the cylinder with compressed air with both valves closed and the piston at TDC and listening to where it leaks out (intake, exhaust, crankcase, or cooling system), I'm betting your gona find a leaky exhaust valve.

And that would be the ideal situation over a head gasket in my opinion

Not necessarily. It might mean a burned valve, which would require a cyl. head removal anyway, and more machine work. if it's just an adjustment of the valve, then yes.

I picked up the leak down test kit from harbor freight yesterday, my friend with the air compressor should come by today or tomorrow I will let you all know how it goes

Sorry for the delay aswell, took a little bit to get things organized with the compressor but hopefully can get repairs rolling. From what my friend told me, its possible to be head gasket or the head needs to be replaced? Any other alternatives?

The only other thing I can think of is if the valve is gummed up and not wanting to move or not sealing. But more than likely you have something else at play too

as for your theory, my friend replied that the air would be coming out of intake or exhaust in that case?

Yes, that would be accurate. At TDC, both valves should be closed. That leaves a head gasket as the most likely thing (I believe. I could be wrong). What does your oil look like? Also, do you have a lot of blow-by?

Oil from dipstick looks clean, I think we checked blow by, don’t recall that being a issue / present

That doesn't necessarily mean your head gasket isn't an issue, but still. Lack of blow by eliminates the piston rings as an issue at least. If it is the valves, yes it would be leaking out of either the intake or exhaust (as you mentioned), but I'm not sure how you test that, to be honest.

Where is it coming out? Is it coming out the intake or can you hear it in the exhaust pipe? that's a sure sign it's valve leakage. If it's coming out the coolant, then definite HG.
If it's valves or HG, the head has to come off, either way.

I guess I forgot to clarify for myself. You have low compression on cylinder 2 and air coming out of cylinder 1. Does that mean your air from cylinder 2 is going to 1, or you're losing air in cylinder 1 in addition to low compression in #2?

Low compression on cylinder 2, cylinder 2 had normal compression compared to other cylinders. so it seems like air from cylinder 2 is going to 1
