Ya i got a set of firestone ride rite air bags on the back too. Here is how it sits now. Just kinda wanted some beefier leafs cause the 2 leafs are pretty weak! 20150912_115039.jpg

They would do the trick and would certainly be an upgrade. The price is pretty great for brand new packs with U bolts too, most are priced a little higher I the 225-250s.

The two bolts that bolt the leaf spring to the truck at the shackles do they have tapered bolts that only go on once and are a pain in the ass to get off or do they come off and are reusable. Cause i replaced leafs on my 99 ranger a while back before this truck and they were tapered and were impossible to get off......

I just replaced my leaf packs and reused the factory bolts without issue.

IMO if you're planning on doing 5100s at the 1.75 or 2.5 settings that you just get new lift coils instead.

I loved my 5100s at 1.75, until I got new coils from OME. They ride like a lot better. It does almost double your front end lift cost though.

So @DCSBFTMFW I was thinking in the future to buy some 5100's matched with OME 885 coils and setting the 5100's at 0 or .85 which is the first setting.

I measured the truck this morning. Front is 34.5" from the ground to the wheel well and the back is 36.5". So these leafs will make the back 37.5". So that would be a 3 inch difference.

So i get the 5100's and set them at 0 with the 885 coils and that should bring me up to 2.5 in the front at 37" and the back would be 37.5". Does that sound about right or would u set the 5100's at .85 which is the first setting then the front would sit slightly higher. I think setting them at 0 would work perfect.

Never done a lift on a truck before to this is a first time. I've done some pretty good research on here to get a idea about some stuff. Just wondering your opinion!

    Thanks!!!

You should re-measure your numbers and take measurements from middle of the hubs to the bottom of the fender (top of wheel well), and try to have the truck parked somewhere as level as you can find.

You may have similar results but it's more accurate to measure hub to fender.

K I'll have to do that to see how much more accurate it will be. But for the most part do you think that will work. I think those 3 pack of leafs will be so much better than the base 2 pack. Going to meet @Goosed on Friday up in ohio!!!
