I make these light bars out of my house and I haven't given much effort to marketing them, so currently my friends truck and my own are the only trucks with them. I'm a stay at home dad, so any purchase of these is greatly appreciated. I'll make them on demand, so if you want one, let me know and I'll make you one. I'm asking $125+ shipping, not to be paid until its in the box ready to ship. They come unpainted, with hardware and instructions. No lights. You have to drill 4 holes in the core support for the bracket to mount. If you want it to be painted nice, I'm sure your local powdercoater could do it for pretty cheap. Call or text any time, you'll get ahold of me faster that way then a PM. Chris 307-421-2128. I'm located in Loveland, CO

Perhaps he's asking about the actual examples that are pictured...

It looks to me like the one on the silver taco is PCd, but the MGM one may spraybombed.

Either way, it's a neat idea for a light bar, I'm more interested to see close-ups of the mount to the core support. Ovrebo1, any pics of said mounting?

The one on the silver Taco is painted and cleared, but PC'd would be a much better idea. It was the first one I made, so there were some grind marks I bondoed over, so I painted it. The other one which is rattle can primered, was the second one I made for a friend to make sure I could do one perfect, plus write instructions. It could be PC'd if he wanted to.

Here are some pics. Please don't steal my idea.

Too bad that these won't fit on a 2011 with the new grill.

    MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.
That mounting setup actually looks pretty good. Does it shake or vibrate badly if you have some larger, heavier lights up there though?

    EDIT:
I now noticed how you tied it into the little upright core support, nice idea there!

Oh, and I have no intentions of stealing your ideas, I just wanted to see how you addressed the mount, especially since it IS such a clean install.

    Nicely done.

I could if you want to drill holes in your cab. Pull that trim strip up on the roof and tell me if there are bolts under it.

EDIT: curiosity got the best of me. There aren't any bolts under it, but the offer still stands. If you want to drill into your cab, I'll make you one.

Thanks. I'm not sure if it shakes with larger lights on it. I'm the only one with the bar, with lights on it right now. Also the truck is a street queen so I can't claim to have put it through its paces. My friend hasn't bought lights for his yet either. Only issue has been a couple nuts have come loose, but I just resnugged them and its been fine.

If someone wanted to come by my house I could try building one for a 2011+ grill and just charge material plus like $20

I wish that I could help out with being a test platform for the 2011 grill, but it's a long drive from San Diego to CO.
