Hoping to have these knocked out by next week. Really the only thing holding us back is the paint for the 05-11 grills, the auto body shop that does our painting has been backed up and its affecting us too.

Never posted a pic of mine! here it is, I bought the mesh kit. Install was pretty easy. Plan on color matching it soon

 

My grill arrived last week and I had a chance to install it yesterday. This is a flat black perforated mesh with "TOYOTA" lettering on it. I tried to photograph how well this looks but the photos don't do it justice, this is a great looking grill. The mesh is solid, the lettering is subtle but it definitely grabs your attention when you see it.

Very pleased with the outcome and excited to have a bit of personalization on my Taco. Thanks @StealthTaco!

I love mine too, only thing I don't like is how the top line that meets the hood is wavy and doesn't match the hood line. And you can actually move it some.

 

That is weird, just noticed it in the pics above

 

Like I said it's really nice. Just don't like that the top is kind of moveable. One day if it is too hot the shape is different, then if it's cold it shrinks back down.

OK this may sound like a dumb couple of questions... anyway...
So i've not done this before:
1. Am i supposed to remove the grille off my vehicle and mail it to you or do you have your own grilles? if so what's the turn around time? if not, then how do you color match to my vehicle?
2. I'm looking to mount probably a 20" lightbar behind the grille, between the radiator and the grille, I'm curious to know, both from the OP and the people who have these grilles with lights behind them, what would be the best mesh to get the most amount of light through it? know what i mean?
3.i may get in on the next group buy for ?next year?, is the mesh selection likely to change?
