    Thanks for the reply, I will be making the 10 this weekend now that I have done another fit check on a 2016. Had to make a few adjustments. Will be reaching out after that to get a few installed. Have to work out the details.

    If anyone is interested in getting a 100% functional part and don't care about the small scratches or dents. I have a few of these that were returned or do not pass the 100% quality test.

    $25 each with shipping to US and we will donate 100% of the proceeds to the American Red Gross Disaster Relief Fund and the SPCA to help the families and animals affected by the hurricanes.

    I will post the receipt here when they are all gone.

    We have 4 of these sold for $100 in donations. I would like to get more of them sold so we can get this sent, though the folks will need help for some time.

    My hat is off to those of you who supported the cause. Thank you. They were all new with some blemishes like light powder coat. It really is a good deal while they last.

    It is much cheaper then the $500 deductable or $1600 if you have to replace the tailgate out right.

    I go to Lowe's but never see any tailgate locks unless you are talking about a hose clamp. Good luck with that. I would weld it on if you go that route. It is a cost effective sense of security

    3 Generation Tacoma Tailgate Locks are documented (22 pages completed and ready for final review).

    Feel like I am in collage again and just took an open book final. Since I am now mentally tired and want to review with a fresh set of eyes (tomorrow) I though would like to let you all know the time has come and we are ready to offer these out to the 10 beta testers this week (I will be looking you up now..)

    We have been promising these for the last year... Wow Sorry to the 3rd Gen owners who read this thread... Well they are here!!!

    We have some made and they look great (my opinion, but you all are a tough group) I think the 3rd Gen Owners will all be happy and they will have a individually keyed lock made right here in the USA. Time for a thread in the 3rd Generation Area.

    Thanks for the patients, understanding and support... I want you all to know this has been a great journey for me and it would not be possible without you.
