I'm partial to Deaver, American made from American 5160 steel. I offer free bushings with spring purchase. Deaver sells a lot of the U402.

Totally worth the peace of mind, a couple years back I payed $2,200 to have an 80ft cottonwood tree taken down and hauled away, I ripped that guy off haha, job was worth $3,000

like 4.5" just installed mine was a pain to get the stock ones off. Thought grinding would be easier it wasn't the drilling was so much better. I'm about .75 taller in the back nothing too big or noticeable. Just wanting to play around with some different sizes. Don't have any pics or haven't driven it much since I installed it but will let you know tomorrow how it does.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
does anyone have before and after pics of these installed? I'm still not sure what their intended use/benefits are. do they offer more ground clearance? i dont need any more lift. i have dakars with aal and icon reg (non-extended) shocks. actually im putting in the aal and u bolt flip kit and was trying to decide if i need this or not so i can do it at the same time. thanks

If you are just looking into this for the first time, there is more info on archivegarage.com, and look thru last 10 pages of this thread. Dakars are shorter, and will get 1.5" lift if using factory hanger holes which gives shackle angle 25 degrees from vertical, several owners with Dakars have drilled new holes 1" forward to get 45deg shackle angle, about 1" lift.
This kit gives more ground clearance and removes possibility of bending rear hanger/frame. You'll get a softer ride, that AAL will stiffen the ride

Thats in the i believe the "front" most position with AP Expos and an angle for 45* at ride height.
