6 revised production shock relocation kits have been ordered from laser. I will be installing 1 of those on my truck hopefully over long weekend in 2 weeks. After that is complete and Kosher, I will start selling these, so 5 production kits will be available, and I have a couple prototype left also.

If you are wanting to do this, speak up, I prefer that shackle flip customers get them.

This is an involved install and the Kings/ Fox shocks take a month or more after you order, generally not in stock anywhere due to being built for your application.
Edit: I have talked with Ryan at AccuTune Offroad about keeping a pair of 14" Fox in stock once this gets rolling.

I'm interested in trying this, but I would need to buy your shackle flip kit also. My King 14" shocks came in last week and I've been waiting for the flip/relocate kit to become available before doing anything.

I would need to see if they would still work with triple bypasses, and you're only able install remotes correct? I don't have your shackle flip, but I've been following this project for a long time. How is your SUA coming along?

The triple tube King's should work but tubes clocked facing outward. Only remote resi's. The SUA is working really well with Deaver U539/540's, shackle flip brackets moved forward with new holes.

    I only want a ~1" lift.

How does the shackle flip affect load capacity and towing on factory leafs?

Thinking this might be the ticket and help with flexing on factory suspension.

It doesn't adversely affect load or towing with stock springs because they are flat to begin with. Lift with stock springs and brackets in "foremost" position is about 1.25". And it really helps droop (~3") on stock springs vs stock hanger because of the low arch and free length of stock springs, they don't work well stock with stock.

    Eric

These are still 10% off currently with code springflip10 on archivegarage.com under Tacoma

@ARCHIVE let's talk soon, I need the full setup: SUA, shackle, and relo. 14" shocks. Who's been running all 3?

That's good. I wanted to run ADS triple tubes, but I think they are all piggyback. How does your SUA compare with something along the lines of the DMZ kit? As I understand now, yours looks to be more geared toward expo and flex, whereas the DMZ is geared more towards LT and perfomance. My trucks purpose is in-between.

The DMZ kit is a good kit requiring extra fab work, and shocks thru the bed to reach its travel potential. It adds up to a decent amount of work, requiring installing new front fixed hangers, moving axle perches outboard. My offering is geared towards easier install, using stock front hanger, and not cutting the bed, while still using up to 14" travel. It is turning out to be a nice fit for expo/overland rigs.

Seems very reasonable. I definitely want to retain the integrity of my bed and your kit seems very comparable to the TC kit but much cheaper. How are the U539/540s for ride height and performance without the shackle flip? I have a shell with a rack on top which add at least 250lbs.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my many questions! ;)

You're welcome, the U539/540 are the increased capacity version and handle weight well, like a topper, steel bumper and RTT. They are designed by Deaver for that and several TW members have them and they are working well with shackle flip.
Lift height is only about 1" with stock hanger

Chopped off the stock shackles and installed the Archive Garage shackle kit 4". Nice to have friends with a plasma cutter cause it was hella easier to get the damn rivets out after dicing off the stock shackles. I like the look and I got about an inch of height with the combined All-Pro standard springs and Archive kit. About 3/4" higher in the rear of the front right now. Perfect...

Here's a few pics of the carnage and install:

The Archive Shackles 4" (I painted them black even though they now come zinc coated) Love the greasable bushings:cool:

My buddy Luka plasma cutting off the old brackets prior to rivet removal. I highly recommend this before trying to get a grinder in there as there's almost no space to maneuver.

Here's a view of the installed bracket with the new All-Pro leafs...

    The carnage...

    Looks awesome.

I just plasma out the rivets. Saves some time and now I have two sets of stock hangers.

That method was discussed during the install, but I was concerned about the misalignment of the hole by blasting through with the plasma.
