If you buy your bypasses with the tubes laid out correctly for the rear of a Tacoma the clearance difference would be neglagable between the shock and the tires. The only place you'd have to look into would be the clearance around the upper shock mounts which I'm sure Eric could answer.

Yeah one has the King 2.5" x 14" twin tube bypass with tubes facing forward toward engine. REQUIRES REMOTE RESI, pic was prototype tower with smaller rear rib.

You'll want king bypass layout 2. I always use those on under the bed shock hoops. Last truck I did didn't require wheel spacers but it was more of a desert truck. Extreme flexing would require use of a 1.2" spacers. Wheels were 17 with a backspace of 4.5

Careful saying layout 2, Downsouthmotorsports.com has a different layout number from King standard, and possibly Filthy Motorsports, which totally irritates me, its also might be different with 2-tube and 3-tube, so for me it's just:
"Tubes forward towards engine" for the newbs

Hey Eric, I'm thinking of getting a flip kit. I just purchased the allpro expo leafs and have the tundra rated sumo springs bumpstops (1500lbs at 3" compression from 6") My shocks are 29.82"extended and 17.57"compressed fox 2.0 non resi. Would you recommend the 4" or 5"shackle. I'm trying to keep shocks from bottoming out. Any help would be appreciated. Also trying not to have to do a shock relocation if avoidable. This got me thinking.... Should I do a shock relocation and not do a shackle flip?

Hey, actually that setup sounds like a pretty good fit. I think the Sumo springs will help you not bottom the shock plus the thickness of the pack means axle doesn't come up as high, and nearly 30" shock will get you plenty droop with about 4" lift

Thanks for the input. So go with the 4" shackle? How much lift do people regularly see with the the allpro leafs and the flip kit 1" or 1.5"? I carry a camper shell and tools most of the time.... Around 300-500lbs total. I'd much rather be closer to 4.5 than 4. If I go with the 5" shackle would I need to worry about over extending the shock?(limit strap?)

I think the 5" would be good, used with the "foremost" position for about 35deg angle. I don't think limit straps are needed, the springs are so unloaded by that point, and those are long shocks

Sorry if this has been discussed but does the shackle flip affect weight carrying capabilities?

Apperantly it is slightly, dependent on the angle.
    I ordered. Great customer service.

No. Angle does not change ride spring rate at all, therefore weight capacity is not diminished.
