I just got tired of playing catchup from my other build thread. Any of the missing timeline can be found here:

    http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=126570&page=4

Picks up around page 4 or so...

But this thread is not dead! Nor is my truck. It has just been making love to the jackstands for about 9 months

I will have more updates after the weekend!

Got a chance to get some more work done this weekend. I focused on getting my frame end brackets done. The lower links will mount below and inboard of the frame so they triangulate outward, and the upper will mount on the inside of the passenger framerail and triangulate inward towards the center of the axle.

I started with the passenger bracket which will be the upper and a lower. First made frameplates of the inside and bottom of the frame. Everything will weld to this to make one bracket that will get welded to the frame.

This is bent to follow the frame contour as well.

Then I added my generic brackets from Ruffstuff and Ballistic:

    Then mock-up some cardboard:

Now make it out of steel :

Can't forget the plug welds to grab the internal gusset:

    Mock-up on the frame:

The next step was easy...since the frame is symmetrical I cut apart my templates to make just the outrigger and gusset for the lower link mount:

Clipped the corner off the lower bracket to finish it off a little more:

Still need to add weld washers to this one and some plug weld holes in the frameplates but otherwise its done too.

Passenger side bracket is 13 pieces and drivers side is 11 pieces

These will get disassembled after cycling the suspension, and then fully welded upon reassembly.

Eventually its getting an Exo that will tie into the bed. For now I at least have a rollbar which is leaps and bounds ahead of having nothing so its not high on my priorities...
