2005 check engine light

    I've done O2 sensors on other cars...i assume i did it myself. it's easy enough once you bust it free...just make sure you use an O2 socket (side is cut out for the wire)

    I'm sick & tired of my 05 Taco engine light keeps coming on & off. Replaced gas cap still the same. So I traded for another Taco 06, drove for a day the engine light also came on & off; replaced the gas cap again. But still the same. I'm about to burn it. haha

    Right, because the check engine light sometimes comes on because of a loose or defective gas cap people think it's always that, but it's not. On the 06 you might be dealing with sometime who reset the computer before selling it, so if it's a dealer I would be going back to them. But you definitely have to read the code before doing anything in an attempt to fix it.
