2005 DCSB Transfer Case Issues - swap questions

i have a 2005 Tacoma and it will not go into 4l. I have tried almost everything besides taking transfer case apart.

Is it possible to swap this out to get manual shifters instead of the electronics? If it is does anyone have a the information to share or is there someone that has done a write up on it. I would prefer manual shifters for 4h and 4l if possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I've done a few searches but haven't found anything.

 

What happens when you try to use 4lo?

Is the truck stopped with your foot on the brake and In neutral?

 

I've tried everything. I have it at a Toyota mechanics shop as we speak and he has everything working electronically but it will not shift into 4L. He tried to do it manually and he can't get it to go.

Here you go, the manual case is awesome, no more waiting for things to engage or being in the wrong specific settings to get 4-Lo to work.

 

The FJ cruiser manual t case bolts right up. Only problem is cutting a hole in your floor and sealing it, and then getting your ADD to engage.
