^I think that was called Desert Sand Mica, voted the ugliest color for 2nd gens on TW.

 

well then I change my mind. I love it! LOL

 

I was just at the crossroads of keep or sell with mine. It's 05 DCOR MT, bought used at 60k for $17k And immediAtely put mid travel susp on it.

I've had the following happen:
1. Toyota put new exhaust manifold 2011 somehow it was covered under new warranty.
2. Toyota gave me new headlights due to bubbling of lenses at parking lamp 2015.
3. AC compressor went out at 120k, I have yet to get it working again keeps losing fluid shops can't find the leak which means probably in the evap behind the dash...
4. Drivers wheel bearing went at 125k.
5. Spent 9 months trying to find the leak into passenger side wheel well. Turns out it was from rust behind the windshield.
6. Squealing windshield.
7. Clutch squeaks on long trips.
8. Both rear pAssenger seatbelt springs corroded to the point it wouldnt retract.
9. Stupid Deaver springs went negative arch in the first year. Replaced with dakars.
10. Had to shim rear axle after slight lift.
11. Have new lower control arms on order now, bushings are goners.
12. Since i decided to run ER till the wheels fall off im getting the motor mourns welded up with gussets next week as preventive maintenance.
13. Cd changer ate my favorite Avett bros cd and churns randomly.
14. Drivers seat springs in lumbar broke, found a replacement at wrecking yard.
15. Syncros in MT have been grinding since 120k but I learned to shift it perfect so I'm still on original clutch / trans.
