One of the lines on the rack is leaking. According to the parts guy at dealer these lines are not available separate from the rack. I was thinking of cutting the leaking part of the line out and sliding a hose over it and using hose clamps to seal it.

Anyone see a problem with doing this? I can see the rest of the tubing might also be in bad shape and I figured the metal shavings from hack sawing would be flushed out before installing the hose. Thanks guys.
