I’ve got a 2005 Tacoma 6 speed standard. It’s a 4.0L. It’s got a misfire on cylinder 3. I replaced the plug. And I checked the resistance on the coil. Which matched the others I checked.
She runs fine for the first 15-30 seconds. Smooth as could be. And then it starts to shake pretty rough.
She’s throwing the following 2 codes:
    P0303 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
    P0606 - ECM/PCM Processor

Any ideas on what I should do next?

Swap coils with an adjacent cylinder to see if the misfire follows. If it does, replace that coil.

All better now. Was simply just a coil. Engine has a ticking noise. I just got the truck and I’m reading lots of these 1GR-fe engines have it?

    All stock, baby!
There is definitely a “Taco tick“ associated with the V6. More noticeable on some trucks, negligible on others. Mine is in that latter category, it’s a quiet, smooth running engine.
