Need some help, I out hanging tree stands this weekend, I was driving across the river like I always do every year. And got stuck, had water come in side the cab. So when I got out the truck was running fine, Still is other than a squeal, I assume in the rear brake drums (sand). I can fix that problem, I also check the rear diff to see about taking in water but it was clean. But the airbag light came on and doesn't switch from the off position. I vacuumed out most of the water and am running a fan and dehumidifier in there at night to get the rest out. My truck was sitting at an angle, so my floor was wet but never got up the computer or anything I don't believe. I sprayed the connections under the seat out with brake cleaner then let them dry but it still on. The horn work and the cruise works, guess there is a spring that can cause the light. Do you have any other ideas what I can try to get this fixed..

You probably have something shorted under the seat or in the B Pillar. I would take it and have the code read at the dealer. It is better than shotgunning parts at the problem or guessing.

The airbag light is the only problem at the moment. I don't think it ever got up to any of the other electronics. because of the angle. Im just thinking I just screwed myself into a world of problems.. when we were pulling it out I know the pedal weren't under water,

Might be an idler on the squealing..

As far as the airbag light goes, i would take all connections apart again, blow them out with compressed air, let them dry well, and then try plugging them back in again. I had a bad connection (not plugged in all the way) in my truck, and that ended up being what caused the airbag light to stay on
