I would definitely recommend installing extended brake lines. The stock ones were really sketch and once I installed the longer rear shocks, the stock lines were at full stretch even though the shock still had more play.

I’m about to install this week option 1.. hope i don’t have to run shims.. I’ve heard the only time you might need shims on the RXT is option 2 or 3 with no added weight.. agian this is just hearsay..

These RXTs aren’t side specific like OME springs are they?? Left and right?? For lean?

Not side specific. My passenger side sits 1/2 inch higher. Taco lean.

Nothing in the instructions, and no markings on either leaf pack to indicate they were.

I haven't measured since right after Christmas when it was fluctuating so much, but now it seems to be sitting fairly level.

I'm honestly contemplating doing this. Anyone else having more than normal Taco lean with the leafs? Mine goes between .5 and 1.5 inches of lean toward driver side...

I don't want to install the option 3 on the driver said though d potentially mess up the ride quality/ weight bearing symmetry.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

I would keep the leafs same on both side and add a 1/2" flat shim to the drivers side if I were to fix it. Your driver side lean varies an inch due to the amount of fuel in the tank?

    Perfect, thank you!

And I think that's probably the reason it varies, but I haven't completely nailed it down yet.

Just an update. Installed at option 1 and it rides great!! Smooth but firm (I’m sure I’m still breaking them in) no more bouncy feeling in rear over bumps.. and even with a brand new 19’ i had a slight vibe with the stock leaves under heavy acceleration @20mph. Not any more!! The RXT is my first set of full leaves and I’m impressed with the ride so far

Anyone have these leafs that came from the old Dakars? Thinking about switching when I do the shock relocate. I have the Dakars with extra leaf. I have a BruteForce High Clearance rear, bed drawers (about 150lbs), tools, hi lift. Was thinking of going with option 3 if I get these leafs

I am making the switch today. I have the old OME dakars with the added leaf also. So the "heavy" set up. Going to go with option 3 on the RXT's. I have customer built Icon 2.0's so I will do some measuring but I think the RXT shocks will limit my down travel compared to what I have now. I think mine were like 29" extended now. Just have to be careful of my compressed length. I have a pretty serious taco lean right now also with the front coilovers having an extra 3 turns on the driver's side. Contemplating using a cut down overload on the driver rear as a spacer that can be bolted into the pack. Might just install as is and see what it settles at. I have a dcsb with Leer shell, tool box with 150lbs roughly, custom rear CBI cut bed tube bumper with swing away, 34" spare and when loaded, generator, wood and spare tire in bed with swing away off the truck.

I saw someone use a spacer plate on driver side to compensate for lean.. i haven’t even measured mine to see if it sits even. Going to option 2 here soon
