Hi all. Although I’m new to the forum I’m the original owner of our 2005 Tacoma. Recently I had a CEL pop up which, with my blue-driver scan tool, was able to pick off a P-0157 fault code. Code pertains to O2 sensor Bank 2 sensor 2 low voltage. Using my Blue Driver scan tool I was able to see that the sensor was putting out zero volts continuously. I followed the recommended trouble shooting suggestions to no avail. I replaced two O2 sensors (Denso) thinking that I might have a bad new sensor. Replaced the PCM, which did help improve my performance in other areas, and I even replaced the connector adjacent the O2 sensor. I could find no air leaks and my wiring appears to be in good shape. Truck has 50,000 miles and is a garage queen. I hate to take it in to the dealer but that may be my only option unless some of you might have some other trouble shooting options. This all began after I had a battery croak while starting up the truck about a month ago. There are no other codes and the truck seems to run great. Getting 19-24 mpg on the road.

Appreciate any help you all can provide.

Your new pcm may need to be flashed and updated by the dealer.

Thanks. That was one of the options my scan tool suggested. I’ll let you know what happens. Dealer was my next step anyway.

Yea updates the the pcms fix a lot of the internal parameters that throw those codes due to aging systems.
