The idiots that did my frame swap left out my ORIGINAL REAR ABS Sensors harness Part #(89516-35100), causing my "ABS" light to come on. Not wanting to pay top dollar for a new one, I did a massive search and did not find anyone selling them for less than $180. I scored a BRAND NEW OEM harness from eBay for a 2005 Tacoma part # (89516-04070) $60 and (no it does not fit) , but I did noticed that the harness side is exactly the same connector, the ABS sensors side are totally different.

I kept looking on the internet to find the connector housing or pigtails that fit my sensors. I finally found a website that had them, they wanted $80 per connector, WTF! https://findpigtails.com/connector/toyota/tacoma/2004/rear-abs-wheel-speed-sensor/?product_title=2004+Toyota+Tacoma+Rear+ABS+Wheel+Speed+Sensor%3Futm_source%3Dgoogle&srsltid=AdGWZVQ8lSHsDYs95ePYWW08oh5_auvjt17kctkqWUnnP3rxl358Y0hlkBs
I had to turn off the ABS light, so I kept looking and found a website that had the housing connectors part# (90980-11467) and I bought a set of 2 for $5.00

I did not want to just cut the wires and splice on the new pigtails, so I de-pined the 2005 connectors and did the same with the pigtails, used the waterproof rubber seals to keep moisture out of the connections. The ABS sensors are the ones in the picture below:

I was driving around with my “ABS” light off, but the only thing was that the housing connectors had not come in yet, took a chance with it. It’s a shame that these companies know how hard it is to get the correct housing connector and they want to rip you off for a piece of plastic that cost them less than a dollar to make.

Good McGyvering. So your total cost was about $70? I just took my rear harness off bc I’m deleting the abs system. I suppose you coulda used it if I had bothered to list it.
