    I just recently bought a 2005 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 2WD with a 3" lift on it.
I need to replace the rear shocks and would like to know if there is a special one needed or if the OEM ones will work? I'm new here so all your advise will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

get something that is made for a 3inch lift. because the shocks stock should fit but will basically act like a limiter and could casue more issues. ive put a set of the Toyota Bilstein on a set of 2.75 in rear springs and they were super close to maxed out

Believe that’s a 5100. Also looks like your lift is via leaf pack not blocks.

It’s not the stock shock, it’s an upgrade although not a high end upgrade, that is compatible with lifts. I don’t know how much lift a 5100 rear is compatible with, someone will chime in.

    minor tweaks
That's quite the leaf pack, 8/2 as far as I can tell, you need heavy duty leafs to carry around the heavy duty leafs.
