2005 Tacoma Rust & Coating

Looking at a '05 Tacoma 180k miles & just wanted some opinions on the shape it's in. Being an '05 I do know that it's susceptible to frame rust & the gasket head failures. I am in no way knowledgable enough to judge the shape of the frame. I did manage to get the dealer to send photos from under the truck, not sure if the angles show enough of the frame to make a judgement on the health of the frame.

Also attached are photos of the clear coat damage. Would I be wanting to get it 'repaired' immediately or is it something that isn't urgent? If so what would the estimated cost for that work to be done?

This will be the first time I will be buying a car. Any tips or words of wisdom are welcome.

20 year old truck for 11k,NO WAY,and it's in bad shape also.
HARD PASS.

 

That's a lot of rust for 11k. I'd pass on it. Much better trucks out there for less.
