    Well done thats a tough job. No idea where that bolt goes, I guess you just made the whole thing more efficient :thumbsup:

    Nice. Happy it all worked out for you. I had a head gasket blow on my 2006 4runner and I wanted to try changing it myself but ended up just swapping the engine......looks like this was a good experience

    It's really not too bad. Just bag and tag EVERYTHING and take lots of pictures. There are free service manuals online which can get you the torquing sequence and specs. I think I saved myself a ton of cash doing it myself, plus I had an excuse to buy a few more tools :D
