2005 ticking revisited

ok, so i had a thread previously about noises coming from my truck. well, i noticed there is a ticking that is getting more and more noticeable on my truck. i've narrowed it down to the driver's side of the engine, if i rev it i cant hear it. im not sure if thats because of the engine noise or if the ticking dissapates. maybe its always made this noise and i never noticed it? ive read up on the fuel injector tick, which would make sense about it being on that side of the engine. i dunno, whats teh valve adjustment schedule on the 2005-up 2.7s? im having a hard time determining if the sound is this "injector tick" or if its valvetrain noise...

anyway 2005, 2.7 with 66K miles.

 

is there a valve adjustment on these 2.7's?

 

ok fyi for anyone else that wants to know, the 2.7's have nonadjustable valves
