2005 v6 Not Starting, needing fuel pump.

Have not had a chance to completely diagnose as I had to come into work.

But, truck is turning over fine just not starting. Seems to be a fuel issue to me and possibly the fuel pump. It turns over strong, but wont start. Few lights come on, battery, check engine, maintenance (I believe) and cant remember the others.
Buddy seems to think other things since so many lights have come on.


But, have looked into the URD pump kit but only problem is they are out of some of the parts and I need to get my truck going.

Going to remove the bed and want to just drop a new one in.

Looked on ebay and there are a few that have 2 year and limited lifetime warranty.

Any recommendations on fuel pumps to buy? Local parts stores are $300+ for new ones, or if I can get by and wait on a URD?

 

If you are sure its the fuel pump you might want to take a look at Rock Auto as they had a Denso (quite possibly the OE pump) the other day for $75 but I see it is now about $94. Don't forget the 5% discount code that can be found here in their vendor forum.

 

Any code throwing? If you have a scan tool see if there is any code that are showing. That might narrow down the problem.

 

Does Denso sell a fuel pump with the housing assembly? If so what is the part number? I only see the Denso fuel pump by itself without the housing.
