Hey everyone so i have a kind of unique situation, so i just went into my speedometer today and had to recalibrate the needles as they werent accurate. I unplugged my speedometer and fixed the needles but when i went to start up my truck i wont start. I literally driven it 30 min prior to this so i think it might be a fuse. Its definitely not the alternator ,spark plugs, yes i have gas, batteries not dead because it wont start even with a jump, the starters also good. If you can drop a list of the fuses that control the starting mechanism so i can replace them id appreciate that, or even ideas on what it could be.

Definitely wouldn't be a battery if it actually cranks. Have you tried unhooking the battery for a few seconds in case you upset something in the computer?

I’ve see it happening before. Something will fail right when you’re working on something else. It’s rare but it happens.

Most likely you did upset something. A connector isn’t snapped in good. A pinched wire. A wire pulled out of it’s connector.

If you have a code reader, see what comes up. Hit erase codes even if none come up.

If no codes, then time to troubleshoot. Are the plugs firing? Fuel pressure getting to the injectors? Injectors pulsing? If you have a battery charger, hook it up. Repeatedly cranking will run down a battery.

Did you make sure you plugged everything back in, any security light on?
I can pull a wiring diagram when I get home.

You could check the 20A EFI.
But I am with Dm93, I’m betting it is an immobilizer issue.
There is a transponder amplifier for the key located in that area of the dash.

The easiest way to “figure it out” is with the security light.
IF your truck has that light. It should NOT be flashing with the key in the ignition and in Acc. Or Run position.

The light should look like this.
