Took my automatic shifter assembly off and disconnected the shifter linkage. Problem now is the plastic piece that kept the linkage on that rod under the shifter assembly disintegrated. Does anyone know the part number for that piece (bushing?) or link to something on Amazon that has worked?

I have searched and searched and can’t seem to find it on any of the exploded diagrams either.

Just purchased it actually. Pricey little piece of plastic. I’ll let y’all know how it goes when I get it tomorrow.

Well that bushing was the ticket. Hurts being a $30 little piece of plastic but with a lifetime warranty I guess I’ll get it replaced in 15 years like the last.

I went through the same thing. I went to the dealer and was told they only sold the entire cable assembly for $150 or so.
Mean while I used a self fabricated rubber bushing for a few years. Not knowing how long my fabricated bushing would last I decided to just bend over and purchase the special bushing from Amazon for about $30 shipped. Kind of like going to the dealer for parts.
