If you have warranty just hold off on installing that. When warranty goes out install that and see if they make a aftermarket oil cooler. I can't remember if they do or not. Other than that its a bulletproof motor.

I love driving other people's gigantic trucks, one of the most enjoyable driving experiences of my life was cruising around town in an F350 of this same configuration plus duallies... but having to drive it every day is way different than getting to drive it for a day, so ultimately I agree with you.

GLWS OP, that's a pretty sweet truck!

Only thing that was done to this one was the EGR delete and oil cooler and fuel injector orings due to hard starting when cold. Other than that it ran like new. 03s have the loudest turbos, just don't run a super aggressive tuner or you may need head gaskets and ARP head studs!

I have noticed the turbo on this thing is way louder than my brothers 04, but I do have straight pipe on it to which probably makes a difference.

I have heard about the headstuds also, thinking that after this warranty is up I may try and change them before they are a problem, as well as the egr delete.

I am driving it stock other than the straight pipe and plan to keep it that way. I'm in love with the stupid thing already so I hope it doesn't let me down.
