I am in the process of converting the front end; I picked up a set of fog lights off of Ebay that were mentioned in a thread about the conversion. They came with wires, fuses, a fog light switch, etc. The bulb sockets for the new lights do not fit onto the factory fog light harnesses. Surely it cannot be this difficult... I was hoping to get a set of lights that would plug right into the factory harnesses.

Most eBay and Amazon inexpensive lighting is hit and miss as to being plug and play on any specific vehicle. If you spend a bit more money on quality lights, you will not only get true plug and play, but much better lighting as well. (Not to mention the fact that they'll outlast the cheap stuff.) Check out Hotshot Offroad for great products, great pricing and stellar customer service. I'd highly recommend the Diode Dynamics SS3 line.
