I traded it for a 4Runner Trail. Then traded that for the Tacoma. I wish I still had the Tundra. It would have been paid for :frusty: So would the 4RT :frusty::frusty:

Well, in the beginning I was never very mechanically inclined. I had 6 used cars before I bought my first new one in 1993. Until then it wasn't important to require dependable transportation. After I got married and getting to work regularly became essential no matter where it was. I couldn't afford to pay to have them repaired all the time. Those costs were adding up to what a new vehicle cost. Since 1993 all of them have been new. So I have become accustomed to a payment and since 2000 two payments. Up until my Lexus and this Taco I have only kept my vehicles for 3 - 4 years or 50k miles, whichever came first. I would get bored or see something I liked better. As a matter of fact, at one point it was so bad I had an 09' Acura TSX, a 10' Honda 4WD Crosstour, and a 12' Toyota Camry XLS Hybrid, all new, all top of the line fully equipped models. Tech Packages, the works.

    On top of that I had a 2000 Dodge Ram (gasser), a 2005 Dodge Diesel, a 2012 Tundra, 2014 4Rt and now a 2017 Taco. All modded.

    And

    I also had a 1982 H-D XLS Roadster, a 2006 H-D Road King, a 2009 H-D Night Rod Special and a 2012 H-D Tri-Glide Ultra Classic. All modded.

I don't ride H-D's anymore, and never lost a dime on any of the transactions. And now I think I have finally found the perfect car and truck for us. a 2016 Lexus es300h and the 2017 Tacoma Sport. The car will be paid off soon, and we've thrown the idea of trading it for a Tesla around but I will have to test drive one first to make sure it has the luxury the Lexus has. The truck is here to stay this time. I have too much invested and more to come.

Life is funny sometimes. When we were younger and could only afford a POS Reliant K we didn't care. We both work full time jobs and things are better now. We have no kids. So we spoil ourselves. Had I been mechanically inclined though way back then things would have likely been different.

Yeah I don't make much money and the new car market is a scam imho. So I'll just keep buying used Toyotas lol

Looks like a tie in poll so far.

If it comes down to full exhaust and front bumper... I'd probably have to go with front bumper.

Yeah I really like the sound of mycheapo exhaust. Stock with a flowmaster muffler in place of the stock muffler and resonator delete. But I realize any gains are minimal at best. With a.full.system I'd likely gain some.more.power. however I've never seen the point of upgrading the entire exhaust system unless you also upgrade to headers.

This just keeps getting more expensive.

Supposedly exhaust plus headers is good for 40hp on the 4.7L though

That's what's nice about a v8, pretty easy to get a good sound out of it. Also, on the full exhaust, +40 maybe gained (??), but if it's only at the top end, and it costs you low-end, may not be worth it for a daily driver.

From what I've read, long tubes will give.power on the low end
