Hey y’all my 2006 Prerunner just turned 100k and shudders at low speeds. Does it more frequently below 40 mph. How do I know if it’s just low/old transmission fluid and/or differential fluid?
I’ve read about carrier bearing. I’m just worried about the transmission itself.

Lol. That’s your typical Tacoma shutter just to be safe you should check the transmission fluid get it nice and warm and pull your fill plug to see if you have a little drainage

Saying this nicely - there are dozens (if not more) of threads on this subject. Taking a few seconds to perform a search will give you the results you need far sooner than waiting for responses to this thread.

Agree, but in OP's defense the number of shudder threads probably pales in comparison to the thousands of generic Oil Change, Spark Plug, Suspension Lift, etc. threads that have been beaten to death and yet still somehow get multipage replies around here.

And how is that relevant? There are *tons* of "shudder" threads on here. So because there are *shit tons* of oil change threads means he shouldn't search??

Transmission flush fixed my shutter problem. I did a full flush (12 quarts I think).

So, took it to a transmission shop and found water in the transmission from the radiator. Mechanic said this mostly happens with Nissan not Toyota. So I looked it up and the only article I found was with a Tundra.
Pink Coolant in Reservoir and Transmission Slipping on Toyota Tundra
    Problem Description
The 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra with the automatic transmission may develop an issue which is commonly known as the "strawberry milkshake".

The name is based on the color and consistency of the fluid found in the coolant reservoir, transmission, and radiator.

The radiator on these models has an isolated portion for cooling automatic transmission fluid(ATF) that is pumped in and out by the transmission. This area of the radiator is known to rupture internally, and the following occurs:

    • Transmission overheating warning light
    • Transmission slipping (engine revs high and vehicle moves slowly)
    • Engine overheating
    • ATF and engine coolant mix in the radiator, engine, and transmission
Engine coolant in the transmission can cause severe damage, and if not caught immediately may require replacement or rebuild of the automatic transmission.

To correct the situation, the radiator must be replaced, and the engine cooling system must be flushed thoroughly. Also, the transmission will need to be professionally flushed, inspected, and possibly repaired or replaced.

To prevent this from occurring, proactive replacement of the radiator is necessary and recommended.

Everything he said was right in this article
