Looking to replace my 16" alloys on my 98 4Runner with some steel wheels (tired of the air leaks) and found a set of 06 Prerunner 16x7 wheels here on the forum for sale. Just making sure the offset and backspacing is not going to give me any trouble.

If they are going to stick out a tad wider than my stock wheels that would actually be preferred, as I have had a slight rub when the suspension is compressed since the last tire purchase (Yokohama Geolander AT 265/75/16)

My current backspacing (3rd gen 4Runner/1st gen Tacoma, 3 split spoke alloys) is supposedly 4.625" (4 5/8")

    Any info appreciated.
    Thanks

I did some searching here and I think they are 5.5" backspacing.

    thank you

wheels are on the way, should be fine as long as I don't buy tires that are super wide

you might want to add the info to the sticky in this forum since it isn't there

    thanks again
