Can someone tell me what this should be plugged into? I found this the very back of my engine. Looks like there’s a hose that needs to be connected?IMG_8322.jpg

Could it be the alternator that’s causing this problem? If I get it revved above 2000 RPM, it seems to be stable and wants to idle but then cuts off.

Could it be a bad throttle body? Is there a way to test it?

What about the driver side hoses.

Also, are you certain that the fuel lines are connected properly? From the feed hose to the driver side of the fuel rail, and the outlet of the fuel pressure regulator to the return hose on the fender?

Can you get some clearer photos of the fuel lines, and where they attach to the hard lines please?

I will get you some clearer photos. However, this is from the driver side. I have insured the lines are properly attached and ran a pressure test.

I would have to double check but this looks like one of the vent hoses from the automatic transmission or transfer case.

All of those photos show everything to look good.

I briefly looked back through the various posts but could not find if you had swapped back to the original MAF sensor, or yet installed a known good new one?

Thanks! I did swap it back. I also ordered a new OEM throttlebody and wiring harness. If the throttlebody doesn’t work, I will return it.

In your earlier revving videos. Did you have the scan tool connected to see what the voltage was, while you had it running?

I can do it again. What am I looking for? The alternator voltage?

I am not so certain about this test. The alternator is relatively new.

Just to verify that the alternator was charging at higher than eleven 11VDC.

    It is.

You had said earlier that your catalytic converters had a smell to them. You could always drop your white pipe and take a look at them. To inspect the media and make sure nothing's clogged up. You can even let it idle for a little bit like that and see if anything changes.

I didn’t mention that I did drop the tail pipe to check them out. There was no change.

Swapping out the throttlebody did not make any changes. Could it just be bad gas? The throttle body is very responsive and after it begins to idle it dies. Again no codes.
