I'm getting my recall done for the rear leaf springs. The toyota representative said this would cost about $2000.00 if I had to pay for it. That sounds expensive. I've got a lift kit on mine that I have to take off before they will do it. Basically I have to drop the rear blocks.

Save yourself some frustration and buy an aftermarket set. OME Dakar is a good value if you use your truck as intended.

 No, new OEM leafs do not cost that much. Still glad you're getting a free set.

get new tsb springs. Buy OME dakars and then sell tsb springs. That's what I did. Love the dakars.

ATX Mojaves with 265/75 16 Hankook Dynapro ATMs, Spidertrax 1.25" spacers (front and rear), Bilstein 5100 all around up front set at 1.75", Blacked out badges, Pioneer AVIC D3 DVD/NAV Head Unit, K&N Air Filter, Tyger Tri Fold Tonneau Cover, Rockford Fosgate Punch Speakers.
I called my dealership for the hell of it to see what they would charge to install my lift (5100s up front and an AAL in the rear) they said about $800, I laughed, they were going to charge me that to replace my shocks when I got my frame replaced and that included the price of the shocks.

No way rear leafs should cost $2K.
