    just got it.
So I'm fixing all the inop items in my " new to me" 06' Tacoma and I noticed a couple of things.

    1. Is the little power socket cover replaceable and is there a part number?

    2. What is the funky little round thingy looks like some sort of plug attached to the inner right side of the glove compartment. a

There are two 12 volt sockets under the AC controls. The one on the left is for the cigarette lighter-no cover. The one on the right is an accessory plug-cover.

The black thing on the right of the glove box is supposed to make the glovebox open slowly, instead of slamming open. They are a bitch to get back on after changing the cabin air filter. Mine has stopped cooperating, no more easy open glovebox here. Good luck.

Here is the part number for the port cover.
I found the pricing is usually wrong.

Welcome to TW! For question #2 I think this is what you are talking about: https://amzn.to/2UXv2cA It controls the glove box when opened so it doesn't come crashing down.
