For those of you whose temperature guage/compass has mysteriously stopped working, there are several threads on here providing helpful information. BUT, when removing the overhead console, per the other threads' instructions, be VERY VERY careful as there are two small metal clips which attach the two front plastic supports of the console to the roof of the truck. You will understand this the minute you pop the console down. Those metal clips are NOT attached to the roof but kind of anchored.

My advice is to put a sheet or tarp across your lap and both seats before pulling the console down so as not to lose the clips which, at least in my case, both came free of the roof.

NO ONE HAS MENTIONED THIS SO BE FOREWARNED.

Hi. Did yours stopped working AND, did you find a way to fix it? Mine just stopped working this morning and I don't know if I have to get a new one or if there is a way to fix it. Thanks
