    Hi
I have a 2006 tacoma trd club cab with 400k+ kms. I have had all the respective recall work done on it. The frame is now so eaten away in 2 spots it can't be safetied for resale. i can't imagine Toyota is going to replace the frame at this point in time and at 66, with little mechanical know-how, i'm not going to tackle it myself.
    Any ideas anyone?

    Welcome to TW!

Unfortunately, I don't think you have a lot of options. The truck is pushing 20 years old and appears to be well used at 400k Kms. I think the only option is to.try and sell it "as-is", disclosing the frame issue. If you can't do the work yourself, I wouldn't put the money into paying someone to fix/replace the frame.

Toyota won't do anything at this point.

That's pretty much what I've been thinking. It's just the old truck is part of the family.
    Thanks for the reality check.

20 years old and 400000 km, you got your money out of it. Part it out and move on.
