I am not a fan of the way the 2016's look, but the more I dig into details the more I am starting to think it would be a pretty easy facelift. Fenders, flares, extensions, hood, headlights, grille, brackets, etc (same as the 2006 to 2015 in the front except need new fenders).

For the back end (if you wanted to have that look) new bed sides, tail lights, flares, extensions and bumper.

In a year or 2, if you didnt do the work yourself, I bet the transformation from a 2005 to a 2016 could be done for well under $8,000. If you didnt care about the bed, under $5,000. Do it yourself, all total, maybe $5,000.

The main thing I want to know is CAN WE PUT THE 6 SPEED AUTO in our trucks? Any chance the 6 speed is bolt on compatible? Or has anyone looked into adapter plate, if it is possible? 6-speed auto would be awesome!
