2006 toyota tacoma 4wheel drive malfunction

i have done just like the most of these shade tree mechanic on here, i have tried all their tricks so fire that io have read, put 2 new front actuators on thinking the firt was no good but i dont think 2 in a row would b bad but who knows, i have a question, i can unhook my plug from front actuator and my 4wheel drive selector switch in the dash works perfect,goes in and out of gear perfect but will nit work plugged up except by tuening key off and on, looking for something i have not tried, so dont say did u try tuning drive shafts back and forth, please help, thanks

Got a test light ?
With key on but truck not running , when you select 4x4 , do you have 12 volts at the electrical plug that connects to the front actuator ?
